Depart from the hotel in the morning for a 30-minute drive to Kumai
6:30 AM: Arrival in Kumai & Boarding Klotok
Arrive in Kumai and board the klotok, your traditional Indonesian riverboat.
6:45 AM - 9:30 AM: Cruise to Pondok Tanggui Camp
Set off on a scenic cruise along the river towards Pondok Tanggui Camp, which takes approximately 2-2.5 hours.
Enjoy the stunning views of Borneo's riverside landscapes during the cruise.
9:30 AM - 10:30 AM: Orangutan Feeding at Pondok Tanggui
Witness the orangutan feeding session at Pondok Tanggui Camp, observing these incredible creatures in their natural habitat.
10:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Cruise to Tanjung Harapan & Lunch
Trek back to the boat and continue cruising towards Tanjung Harapan, a journey of approximately 2-3 hours.
Enjoy lunch served on the boat while soaking in the tranquil river views.
12:30 PM - 13.30 PM: Explore Tanjung Harapan Camp
Upon arrival at Tanjung Harapan, embark on a short jungle trek, immersing yourself in the majestic Bornean jungle.
Get ready to witness another feeding session of orangutans from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
4:30 PM - 6:00 PM: Wildlife Watching & River Cruise
As you cruise back to Kumai, keep an eye out for proboscis monkeys, gibbons, and other wildlife along the riverside.
Enjoy the picturesque landscapes and the serene ambiance of the Bornean jungle.
6:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Arrival in Kumai (Optional Dinner & Firefly Watching)
Arrive in Kumai around 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
During this time, if preferred, guests can opt for a warm dinner served on the boat while marveling at the enchanting sight of fireflies twinkling along the riverbanks.
